Cricket, a rare albino Western Screech Owl.

Not exactly my most polished piece, but I love the expression on Cricket's face. The little guy is such a treasure. =D

Taken at the California Raptor Center (located in Davis, CA) with my Canon PowerShot A80.

10/18/2007 Cricket passed away earlier this week. I was extremely fortunate to have been able to work with him in the past year. He will be sorely missed by everyone at the Center.

Cricket looks so different from other Western Screech Owls. It's quite interesting to see an albino one.
