Cricket, a rare albino Western Screech Owl.
Not exactly my most polished piece, but I love the expression on Cricket's face. The little guy is such a treasure.
Taken at the California Raptor Center (located in Davis, CA) with my Canon PowerShot A80.
10/18/2007 Cricket passed away earlier this week. I was extremely fortunate to have been able to work with him in the past year. He will be sorely missed by everyone at the Center.
